The Babraham Investor Conference (BIC) is a must attend one-day conference for investors focusing on early-stage and scale-up life science and med-tech companies from across the UK and Europe. BIC strives to present a broad spectrum of investment opportunities with sessions focused on scale-up and venture-stage growth companies, those beyond start-up and those which are in or entering the growth stage of their development. The event features a rich programme of company presentations, networking opportunities and one to one meetings.
BIC 2018 is now over - many thanks to all those that attended. The full programme is still available below, giving an overview of the key speakers and presenting companies that took part this year.
This year, BIC will feature innovation in digital health and life sciences. The morning session focuses on early stage life science company presentations and a digital health session featuring Jackie Hunter (BenevolentAI), Tim Brears (Evonetix), Andy Blackwell (Ieso Health) and David Atkins (Congenica) and a panel discussion with Andy Richards, Hermann Hauser and Vishal Gulati. During the afternoon session we will showcases a number of the life science scale-up ventures from the Campus and the wider Cambridge cluster including exciting, innovative stories from Niall Martin (Artios Pharma), Julian Gilbert (Acacia Pharma), John Burt (Abzena), Hayden Jeffreys (Cambridge Epigenetix) and much more.
